I believe a home can be a conduit that brings health and healing to our hearts, our community and the land in which we walk each day. I strive with every client to understand the greater story that their home ownership is set within so that we can assist them on this journey. I believe deeply that there is goodness and healing waiting for each one of us, and that our homes can play a role in experiencing it. Pursuing this within our profession is what I call Restorative Realty.
For more than a decade I have been working, playing, and diving deep in the areas of story, homes, education, and restoration. I have been thrilled to see how these four, seemingly unrelated areas, have come together in an approach to people and homes that can be mutually redemptive. I’ve been deeply shaped by the people at Restoration Project and the Allender Center – all of whom have been deeply kind, skilled, and insightful people, contending for the healing of hearts around the world. In addition to deep story work, I have a background in mechanical engineering, home building, and education which allows me to provide a high degree of analysis, and technical understanding to home buyers.
